Y Touring is Central YMCA’s award winning professional touring theatre company for young people and adults. Through high quality productions, the company helps create a greater awareness and understanding of sensitive, contemporary concerns that affect our lives.

Y Touring’s 21st Century Science communications programme, Y Science, aims to use theatre as a means of increasing the informed debate about the impact of science on society, particularly in the field of biomedical science.

The programme promotes the use of drama as a means of exploring and understanding the ethical questions arising from current and future developments in science. A range of educational resources using new media, theatre, and drama for science and humanities teachers, youth leaders and members of the public is continually being developed.

ARKive is the Noah's Ark for the on-line era. It is a centralised digital library of films, photographs and associated recordings of species, accessible to all via the world wide web. ARKive is leading the virtual conservation effort by finding, sorting, cataloguing and copying the key records of species, and building them into a comprehensive and enduring audio-visual record.
ARKive was created by the Wildscreen Trust, a UK registered charity. The objectives of the Trust are to promote the conservation of nature and public appreciation of biodiversity through the power of wildlife imagery.
